What is Architectural Pantry? expand_more

Architectural Pantry is a curated house for culinary provisions, professional cookware, knives, tabletop goods, and structural hardware. We serve three audiences from a single catalog: retail customers who want chef-grade tools at home, hospitality buyers who need reliable wholesale supply, and brands that want to launch private-label pantry staples.

Where are you based and where do you ship? expand_more

We operate from Istanbul and ship across Turkey as standard. International shipping is available for orders above a minimum cart value — rates and estimated transit times are calculated live at checkout based on destination and weight.

Are your products professional-grade or consumer-grade? expand_more

Both, deliberately. Everything we sell is tested against commercial-kitchen workloads, but we price and package for home use as well. A home cook and a restaurant line cook can order the same chef's knife from us — the product is identical, only the quantity differs.

Do you have a physical showroom? expand_more

Not currently. We are an online-first operation, which is how we keep pricing competitive against traditional kitchenware retailers. Hospitality buyers can request samples — see the Wholesale section below.

Orders & Shipping

How long does delivery take? expand_more

Domestic orders typically ship within 1–2 business days and arrive 2–4 business days after dispatch. International deliveries take 5–14 business days depending on destination and customs processing. You will receive a tracking link by email once your order leaves our warehouse.

What are shipping costs? expand_more

Standard domestic shipping is flat-rate for orders under a threshold and free above it. Express and international rates are calculated at checkout based on live carrier pricing. Wholesale and private-label orders ship on negotiated freight terms.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it? expand_more

If the order has not yet been packed you can email us within two hours of checkout and we will adjust it. Once it has entered dispatch it cannot be recalled — you would need to follow the returns process after delivery.

Do you ship fragile items safely? expand_more

Yes. Ceramics, glassware, and knives ship in protective foam inserts inside double-walled cartons. If anything arrives damaged, photograph it within 48 hours and we will replace or refund at our cost.

Returns, Refunds & Warranty

What is your return policy? expand_more

Unused items in original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund minus return shipping. Used items are handled case-by-case. Food, spices, and perishables are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or past date.

How do I start a return? expand_more

Email us at the address on the Contact page with your order number and the reason for return. We will send a prepaid label (domestic) or a commercial invoice template (international). Refunds land on the original payment method 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the item.

Is there a warranty on cookware and knives? expand_more

Most structural cookware and forged knives carry a lifetime defect warranty against manufacturing faults — warping, blade separation, handle failure. Normal wear, rust from neglected drying, or damage from misuse (cutting bone with a slicing knife, for example) are not covered.

Wholesale & Bulk Supply

Who is the Wholesale program for? expand_more

Restaurants, hotels, cafés, bakeries, ghost kitchens, corporate canteens, delicatessens, and multi-location retailers. If you need repeat bulk supply at a better-than-retail price and with case/pallet packing, this is the right door.

How do I apply for a wholesale account? expand_more

Visit /pages/wholesale and submit the B2B Access Application with your tax ID, business type, and expected monthly volume. Applications are reviewed within two business days. Approved buyers receive a b2b-approved flag on their account and instant access to the volume-pricing catalog.

How is wholesale pricing structured? expand_more

Pricing is tiered by case quantity per SKU and is not published publicly. After approval you see your price sheet embedded directly in the product picker — select the items and quantities you need, submit the quote request, and we send a draft invoice by email within one business day. You pay through a standard Shopify draft-order link; no third-party platform required.

Is there a minimum order? expand_more

Each product has its own minimum order quantity (MOQ) visible on the wholesale product card. Typical MOQs are 12 units for cookware and hardware, 6 units for knives, and 24–48 units for pantry goods. There is no minimum basket size — you can mix SKUs freely as long as each line meets its MOQ.

Can I get samples before committing to a bulk order? expand_more

Yes. Approved B2B buyers can request up to three sample SKUs at retail price plus shipping. If you place a bulk order on the same SKU within 30 days we credit the sample cost to that invoice.

What payment terms do you offer? expand_more

First order: prepaid by card or bank transfer. After three successful orders you can request Net-15 terms subject to a credit check. Hotel groups and chain operators can negotiate Net-30 from order one with a reference check.

Do you offer exclusivity by region or channel? expand_more

For most catalog items, no. For a small number of signature SKUs we grant regional exclusivity to a lead partner on a 12-month contract with a minimum volume commitment. Ask your account manager if you are interested.

Private Label

What exactly is Private Label? expand_more

You sell our products under your own brand name and packaging. We manufacture or source the product to our existing quality spec, print your artwork on the label, and ship finished units either to your warehouse or direct-to-consumer under your brand. You own the customer relationship; we stay invisible.

Which products are available for private label? expand_more

Our pantry staples — olive oils, spice blends, pickles, preserves, honey, vinegars, salts — plus selected tabletop ceramics and wooden goods. Knives and structural cookware are not offered for private label because the forging and foundry minimums are too high for most brand partners to justify.

What is the minimum order quantity for a private-label run? expand_more

Typical MOQ is 250 units per SKU per artwork. Some pantry items drop to 150 units, and premium oils or small-batch preserves may go up to 500. Exact MOQ is shown on the Private Label product picker after you are approved.

Do I need to provide packaging artwork? expand_more

You can provide print-ready artwork (PDF, CMYK, 3 mm bleed) or hire our in-house design team at an hourly rate. We give you a dieline for each container — bottles, jars, tins, labels, cartons — and a sample mock-up before the print run is locked.

How long does a private-label project take? expand_more

Count on 6–10 weeks from approved artwork to delivered stock. Breakdown: 1 week for artwork proofing, 2–3 weeks for label and packaging printing, 2–4 weeks for filling and finishing, 1–2 weeks for quality control and shipping. Rush timelines are possible with a surcharge.

Can I request custom formulations? expand_more

Limited. For spice blends, infused oils, and salt mixes we can adjust the existing recipe by up to 20 percent of ingredients. Fully bespoke formulations — new olive-oil varietals, custom honey sourcing, novel fermentations — are possible but require a product development engagement with a separate brief and budget.

How do I start a private-label project? expand_more

Go to /pages/private-label, submit the inquiry with your brand name, target launch date, packaging intent, and product list. If you are not yet a B2B-approved account you will first pass through the B2B application. A project manager is assigned within two business days of approval.

Account, Access & B2B Gate

Why do I see an application form instead of wholesale products? expand_more

Wholesale and Private Label catalogs are gated. Until your account carries the b2b-approved tag, those pages show the application form instead of the product picker. This protects our volume pricing and prevents retail customers from seeing bulk-only SKUs. Approval usually takes 1–2 business days after you submit.

I am already approved but the wholesale page still shows the form — why? expand_more

Log out and log back in. Customer tags are read at session start; if you were approved mid-session the new tag only activates on next login. If it still does not work, email support with your account email and we will re-issue the tag.

Can I have both a retail account and a B2B account on the same email? expand_more

Yes — they are the same account. When you are not logged in or your account is not B2B-approved, you browse and buy at retail exactly like any other customer. Once the b2b-approved tag is applied, you additionally see wholesale and private-label catalogs in your session. Nothing about retail shopping changes.

How do I reset my password? expand_more

Use the "Forgot password" link on the Sign In page. You will receive a reset email within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive; add our domain to your safe senders list to prevent future reset emails from being filtered.

How do I delete my account or export my data? expand_more

Email us from the account's registered address with the subject "Data export" or "Delete account". Under GDPR/KVKK we respond within 30 days. Account deletion is permanent; pending orders must be closed or refunded first.

Products, Care & Food Safety

How should I care for carbon-steel knives? expand_more

Hand-wash only, dry immediately, and wipe with a thin film of neutral oil before storage. Carbon steel patinas (discolors) with use — that is normal and protective. Active rust means moisture sat on the blade; polish it off with a green scour pad and re-oil.

Are your cast-iron pans pre-seasoned? expand_more

Yes. Every cast-iron piece ships with at least three layers of polymerized flaxseed-oil seasoning applied in our factory. You can cook on it the day it arrives. Re-season every few months or whenever the surface looks dull.

Are your pantry goods organic / allergen-free? expand_more

Product pages list certifications (organic, single-origin, gluten-free, vegan) individually. Our facility handles tree nuts, sesame, and wheat flour — if you have a severe allergy, read the allergen panel on each product or email us for a full facility statement.

What are the shelf life and storage instructions? expand_more

Every food product carries a best-by date and storage instructions on the label. As a general rule: oils last 18 months unopened and 6 months after opening, dried spices hold 12 months for peak flavor, honey is effectively indefinite, pickles and preserves are 24 months sealed.

I did not find my question here. expand_more
